Even if you don't particularly like JB's style, anyone who has an ear for music can tell he was a natural, so many emotional dimensions to his voice, artistically one of the greats. Losing him so young was like losing Janis/Jimi/Jim, Kurt, and most recently, Amy. Of course, JB wasn't a member of the 27 Club and he never got the recognition that these other artists got before they died, but what a devastating loss to music.
