@ontilfriday42 i dont really know since ive only used an sp 404 but i reckon sp 404 is a great starting bout in terms of samplers....i mean im ready to expand my set up with an mpc 500 or 1000....but i mean 404s are cheaper than 555s and you can still produce dope sounds on the sp 404 !

@esk8r62 i say keep you 2000xl and have this on the side. The effects you can get on the SP like vinyl stim and compresser and lo fi are wicked for flipping samples with. With both you'll have a tasty lil set up there son!
