Funny thing is, this very, VERY minimally looks better htan on my 9800 GT. But I'm sure you're going to argue to justify that thousand dollar purchase: -P.

graphics cards don't make a game look magically better. this game doesn't use DX11....

however I get a solid 60fps maxed out, and can record fraps at 45 seconds.

Try and play crysis maxed out at 1920x1080 with ultra config and tell me if you can still run that smooth.

completely right. I make due with what I have (and trust me, it's not much), but I'd love to -know- I can depend on my rig reliably running something, even if itn's fully maxed. I'm somewhat -ashamed- of my processor, but alas upgrading isn't a possibility because by communist-ravaged country is laughably, laughably poor. (Say hi to $3 usd equivalent in local money in wages!)

@BlackwingDragon ah, I'm sorry to hear that :( I didn't mean to be rude, it's just I get that a lot. People trying to make me feel like I wasted money. I'm in grad school, my only easily found recreational activity is videogames right now, so I had no problem saving up for a big upgrade.

I mean honestly if I was a millionaire I'd just upgrade every time a new card came out. I think most gamers would.

@TheLostGuitarist Heh, if I could afford it I'd get a powerful but not quite GODLY one. It's more of a passion\hobby for me. Of the many things That piss me off, nothing is more effective than sheer boredom. It helps to have a rig that can perform well. Hell I was lucky to upgrade the card for Dead Rising 2 (Ironic since I'm in the game right now myself).

I still feel a bit...nervous sometimes. Some models have um, "imperfections" on them. Bad shadow lines I guess I could call them?
