thanks',i didn't evaluate till now,,,this stone are not common here in egypt, although there are large quanteties of synthetics here & they claim to be genuine,they do sell alot to tourists thinks that they found a good bargain, they check it eventually and voila, another scam,that's why i don't trust Jewellers stores here, for this not-common stone they think the customer is ignorant....now it's in a bank safe till i find a way to valuate it properly....

if your stone is what you say it is. alexanderite is the most presious stone on the planet, meaning there is not a lot of them around, it is a disireable gem to the people that know what it is about. and depending on the quality of what you have. I had a friend that owned a rock shop, and she sold one one carate stone for 8 grand US.
