  • I think it is a teddy!!! <3

  • @sacraluna why he needs a dust bath , do he look dirty?

  • That almonds are toxic for chinchillas and degus is a myth ... in germany you have a lot of people, who are feeding there chinchillas and degus with almonds and all this chinchillas and degus are healthy ...

A few people in germany had feeded there chinchillas with pellets, then there chinchillas had become ill ... so they changed the food to dry and fresh herbs, flowers, vegetables, fruits, nuts and almonds ... and now there chins become much healthier then ever before.

  • so, you're lucky

  • @carozanimo : My chinchilla has been eating almonds daily for 8 years

  • I have two chinchillas and have done a LOT of reading about them to make sure that I take care of them properly. I have read many, many sad stories about what happens when you feed chinchillas nuts, even organic ones. I believe that you're a good person and that you love your chinchilla but please look this up and see what I mean. It could save your chin a lot of pain.

Also, as has been said before, your chin should never go so long without a bath as to look this oily. It stresses them out.

  • almond are toxic for chinchilla and degus !

  • give this poor thing a dust bath pronto! geezes!

  • OHHHHHH!!!!!

  • @jeffgooloolie We always look forward to blackberry season because our Gracie LOVES blackberries! We have a patch out back and along with those she loves blueberries (we have a bush) and every so often a nibble of the pears we have growing...she gets one blackberry in the morning and one at night...and if everyone noticed I said we look forward to the season, meaning that she's been alive and well eating the fresh fruits we grow in the yard year in and year out!
