@datrager The cheaper WM2140CW (without the chrome door) does not have a water heater and therefore doesn't include the sanitary cycle; that's an important feature to a lot of people. (though obviously, not to someone appropriately named "coolest")

Its funny how people pay more for the same thing. I have the same machines only they dont have the chrome and "stupid" bells/whistles. I paid $850 + tax for the pair! That includes delivery. Rich get richer/ poor get poorer!

Hah thats crazy if you stood there for the entire cycle, you would recommend your washer model to someone looking to by a new washer?

Awesome vid , thanks!

getting one tomorrow.
coolestdude80...glad to know you are a discerning buyer of appliances. May your careful choices in large ticket purchases garner you much wealth over the years. Regarding the "stupid" bell and whistle comment...after recently returning home from a residence that had an old Kenmore dryer with a "cycle done buzzer". I will take the LG tune any day...and pay extra for it!

No, I didn't stand there the entire time. I like to think I have a life...However, the fact that this video exists may suggest otherwise. (-: I shot about 30 min. of video and used Win. Live Movie Maker to edit.
The main reason I did this was to show a W & D in operation. I wanted to hear how loud it was, how the selection knob functioned, what the display looked like, etc. I thought others might want to see it too. I wonder why manufacturers don't offer this as well. I would recommend LG.
