also, if you do go into education, your probably going to need to stay ahead of the game experience wise, probably would be hard to nail a paid part time job in the fashion industry (I assume), so keep voluntary work in mind, also perhaps starting your own little side business might be another option (might not kick off but it will get you some recognition)

The other guys have really nailed it when it comes to the definition of an adult. I totally agree. In relation to your decisions, you can make pros and cons, but I wouldn't advise you too look into detail into it that much. Sometimes on the surface, things can look to be very beneficial, but when your there experiencing it,, you always contemplate about the other stuff. I would advise you to go for the option that you are most passionate for...

There's a school of thought that there's no such thing as a wrong choice. Whatever you choose to do is what happens, and any other courses of action aren't worth thinking about. Don't worry about having too many choices - they're what life is all about. (And speaking as a person named Jack, yes, they do.) :P

Btw, I totally agree with what you were saying about being an adult. It's not an age, it's an attitude and a sense of maturity. The ability to make tough decisions by yourself and recognize that there may be consequences.

@SpindipRob Haha very true. Even if i do not move to NYC, I will probably go there in some part of my job. A lot of fashion design is based in that city. And then we shall hang. :)

So I think an adult is someone who has the characteristics of being responsible. Freedoms are one thing, but to be able to execute and use those freedoms to serve a greater purpose is, as you said, comes with time and age. There is no point at which we come adults it just happens. Remember the fallacy of the beard from Humanities class, remember the fallacy of the beard.
