@gi1237 1) this are sackbuts, not trombones (take a look at the small bells) and 2) an alto trombone is pitched in Eb. What is commonly referred to as a "slide trumpet" is a soprano trombone. Slide trumpet is not a synonym to soprano trombone though. Slide trumpets are totally different and very rare.

No, these are sackbuts, the predecessor to the trombone as we know it. Similar concept, just different in execution.
