To be honest, I really disliked Sayaka... Miss Holier than thou. Utter bitch to Kyoko despite her trying to fix things a be friends. Never trusted Homura, making her already near impossible task even more difficult. Turns on her best friend, almost making her sacrifice herself to the same fate...

But then we get the scene at the platform along with this theme... Damn it, she really didn't deserve that...

@alphamone Judging by Word of God I don't think it can be any different... If anything for Sayaka's ending we'll probably get to control Oktavia and slaughter the magical girls. Granted that would be actually pretty awesome.

@Archimonde259 The reason Sayaka can never be saved is exactly because she will always make the same wrong wish to save Kyosuke's hand. And for one reason or another, this will always drive the two apart and ultimately lead Sayaka to dispair.

Goddess Madoka can do nothing for Sayaka until the latter makes her wish and becomes a Puella Magi, but by that time, it would already be too late.

@903IDFOLEY Maybe. That wouldn't have avoided her bad conscience over having her soul displaced, though. Odds are she would have felt terrible about dooming him to a life with a soulless lich and turned into a witch anyways. Word of God goes that Sayaka can't be saved, she always falls no matter the circumstances.

But it's kinda ironic that Kyoko's suggestion was actually a lot closer to what Sayaka SHOULD have wished for. Maybe not going that far as breaking Kyosuke's arms and legs, but if Sayaka just wished she could be by his side forever, then could probably have avoided turning into a witch.
