I lived in 3848 East New York Street. Started Kindergarten at school 78. I never walked between the houses, I feared that home. I didn't know Sylvia died there, but I felt bad things. The people who lived there were weird. Their children tried to drag me in that house I started screaming and ran. I told my parents that something bad happened in that house, they didnt believe me. my grandfather a police sargent told my parents of the murder. He hadnt realized we moved into the house next door.

There is also another movie named "An american crime" about the Likens murder .
The house was demolished in 2009 Of April on the 23rd . It's gonna be a church parking lot now . But Stephanie Changed her name & became a teacher. & Paula is married with several kids and lives on a farm in Iowa .

I just watched "girl next door" last night at random on netflix I was so disgusted and it mad me all kinds of mad. I read up on it and I can't believe that bitch got out of jail she should have been killed. And all those kids involved, I wonder if their still alive today? If so I saw this movie called "victum" about a surgeon whose daughter is raped and he finds the guy who did it and gives him a sex change and all just so he can do to him what he did to his duaghter..

Although you could have gotten in trouble or worse hurt I appreciate you showing us what the house looked like on the inside. I personally would have liked to seen it in person but it seemed pretty erie just in the video and no one will ever have the chance to see it again. One can only imagine the horror that took place in that house. Rest in peace Sylvia. I'm sorry the people of your community failed you but with that failure other lives would be saved.
