I have filmed the Porsche Targa Tricolore 2009 event at the Santamonica racetrack, in Misano Adriatico, Italy. The vid shows over one hundred of german supercars at the meet and most of them driving and racing on the track. The event included the following cars:

Yes, they are both 911s. The GT2 is faster and more expensive. With the price of a GT2 you can buy almost two GT3.

Yes i talked to some Porsche owners, they told me the GT3RS is a bit better on the track than the GT2

@Kennykid2002 Why not? Caymans and boxters are pretty awesome cars.

I believe even porsche themselves said that they won't fit those with an lsd cause then it'd be faster around a track than a 911.

@marchettino You are right thats is better on track on the long run, but honestly I've had the chance of taking a GT2 on track at the Paul Ricard ( castellet ) and the GT3RS simply had no chance, its underpowered and actually boring. The GT2 is really the ultimate track weapon. However if you want to have fun stick to the GTS RS 996 since its the last porsch produced with no TC. All the 997 models have TC even if you turn of PSM so its just kinda boring. Thankfully GT2 is powerful so fun :)

I highly doubt anywhere near a turbo or GT2

I really doubt a mere LSD would make a 60K car into a 120K car

It would help with the acceleration, though
