@brandon0135 If you ain't smart enough to understand the idea by watching the video, further explanation probably won't help much.

God is a puppet because he's the invention of human beings. Once a god's human animators die off, so do the gods they once animated.

The idea of god is simply the construct of the human imagination. Just like the idea of Sooty is. Make him look like he's moving about and telling you things, and presto! He seems real to everyone.

Simple enough for you?

@Wildcard120 There is not one scrap of evidence that Jesus actually lived. Not one word from Jesus was written down at the time. Herod died in 4BC - historic fact. There was no roman census. Scholars living in Jerusalem at the time somehow failed to mention Jesus' death and resurrection. All this - and more - seems to hint at something. Can you tell what it is?

@Wildcard120 i hope he doesn't get any followers, people should be smarter than that shouldn't they? mate that empty tomb if true only means there was an empty tomb nothing else, of course christians of that day needed a reason why their man god was able to be killed. why woulld anyone in this day who has even a little bit of knowledge or how the world works believe any of the stories in the bible? the creator of the universe got a woman pregnant, walked on water, fed 5000, cast out demons etc..

@jadagod This person may have had more follower than Jesus in His 3 yr ministry but 2k yrs later will any1 remember him outside of his followers? Christ remains a powerful force in human events because He was who He said He was and the signs and wonders follow. The empty tomb is a powerful statement. Mr Baba is still in his grave(if he was not cremated of course).Accept the Gospel or reject it..May not respond to more post a I am dealing with faith issues. Keep watching!

@Wildcard120 it's only a historical marker because christians gained power it's as simple as that, have you heard of Sathya Sai Baba? he was a Indian man god who died this year and had over a million followers! thats much more than jesus had! he preformed "miracles" people had experiences while praying to him.. but that doesn't make him god. look at the historical evidence for aliens visiting earth from the Mayans to video "evidence", abductions and multiple sightings but only loonies believe it

@jadagod Yes that is true but the fact that his life would be use as historical marker is significant. Yes many of theJews did not belive his claims but many did because of the signs and wonders that he did while He was in his ministry on earth. I beilve it is true because of those very signs and wonders not only in my life but in the lives of others I have seen and heard 1st and 2nd hand.As I have said before,either you hear the Gospel and belive or u do not.Keep watching.
