This is my first attempt at a Binaural Beat ambient track. I got interested in creating an audio track to mask the sounds of Tinnitus and (re)discovered pink noise and Binaural beats. The video is from SOHO (http://sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov/), and the sounds I produced using Sonar 7, assorted morphing VSTis. The Binaural beat track was generated using Brainwave Generator (http://www.bwgen.com/). There is some Delta low frequency noise mixed in the background. I can hear it better if I listen to the track on a PA with a sub-woofer however headphones are recommended.

while listening to this track I like to think about quotes from some of my favorite thinkers, below are a few;

"It does not require many words to speak the truth." --Sitting Bull

"One does not sell the earth upon which the people walk." --Tashunka Witko 'Crazy horse'

"No matter what they ever do to us, we must always act for the love of our people and the earth. We must not react out of hatred against those who have no sense." — John Trudell

"When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home." --Tecumseh

"All things, oh priests, are on fire . . . The eye is on fire; forms are on fire; eye-consciousness is on fire; impressions received by the eye are on fire." --Buddha

"All wrong-doing arises because of mind. If mind is transformed can wrong-doing remain?" --Siddhartha Gautama

"Zen is not some kind of excitement, but concentration on our usual everyday routine." --Shunryu Suzuki

"Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. Realize the strength, move on." --Henry Rollins

  • Any chance you could upload this to Mediafire or a similar site? It's soothing and even kind of blocks my tinnitus.

  • @Ilenyth Thanks! You can download this one from the Binaural Beats group on Sound Cloud - soundcloud com / groups / binaural-beats , but this one is not up there yet. Check back in the Binaural beats group on Sound Cloud in a day or so.

  • I put this on while doing some research for my music therapy dissertation. I began with little motivation and now feel relaxed enough to concentrate....thanks.

    Brilliant ambient sounds.

  • @slariley Awesomeness! Thanks for the comment, that also puts me in a positive mood knowing one of my tracks played a part in feeling good. Music *IS* very therapeutic! If you check out the research of Dr. Masaru Emoto it lends to an interesting theory that Music, sound and thought (intent and desire) can be projected through sound. Along similar lines, Cymatics, Musica universalis and Akashic records (Shabda) seems to be much older validations of the more esoteric incarnations of sound.
