I've got a similar set up except I upgraded to the XXL tires. If you upgrade to the XXL tires you will never blow out a tire, spindle or hub again. There are 4 things you need to complete the upgrade (blue hex hubs, larger spindles (front and rear differant), XXL axels, XXL fonts and rear arms. If you email Jenny's RC on ebay and ask him to send you the links to complete the upgrade to mount XXL tires he will. The tork that 454 delivers is just to much for the stock Aftershock. Good luck

@beattms Thankyou about 4 weeks ago I did the hole lst performance upgrade. 20mm hubs and all the good stuff that comes on a xxl / lst2. I am also running the xxl wheels and tires now, Their is a new review I put up to so the truck, thankyou for your imput its whats great about this hobby lots of great people ready to help also I just put in the 220cc fuel tank from the losi xxl for longer run time cause as you know the 454 goes through fuel fast.

how is the 454? im looking at a 454 and a dynamite .28 big red just trying to get a new engine for my tmaxx

@nicklokey916 The losi 454 is in theory the same engine as a lrp .28. The losi 454 is a .28 and the power is much greater then dynamite .28 I was more then happy with the power of the 454. In my opinion I would go with the losi 454.

i run the " Big Red" .28 in my Savage and this motor pulls hard! pull start sucks, but it also has the roto plate aswell!! bonus.
