This is what real football is, every kid who dreams of being a professional athlete should watch Earl Campbell highlights because he shows the true meaning of never quitting or giving up on anything. You would never see a guy nowadays take hits like that and keep going because his team depended on him. It's all about money and fame now but with Earl it was about winning and never giving up. His strength and determination are a lesson for everyone on how they should live their lives.

Its like, dude you guys used to watch film on the guy before you played against him? And you see he will run your ass over if you try to go head up with him. I guess they didn't submarine motherfuckers back then. Cut his legs at 100 miles an hour, he ain't going anywhere. But god damn Earl Campbell was a straight up Monster! Too sick!

I was a student @ UT the same time as Earl. He redefined the notion of a power runner, not just size and strength but speed. His first two years he was the fastest member of the Longhorn team. He is also as fine of an example of a man as there is. His current health struggles sadden me and I wish him many pain-free days in the years to come.
