I think Myles should just sing, he does that better than he plays the guitar. Mark should be the only guitarist.

myles is really something. he has the most beautiful voice in the world and he can play guitar well too.

@alexmccoy11 Actually that was only when he started in Alter Bridge. BEFORE AB He was in numerous other bands where he was both guitarist & singer -and he actually started playing guitar BEFORE he started singing. Yup, look up his old bands, especially Citizen Swing & Cosmic Dust -jazz fusion bands, completely awesome style of guitaring there!

@rattleXhead Exactly, dont know myself what other solos were in the list, but this doesnt impress me at all:p I listen to heavier metal than this: groove, melodeath and thrash mostly, they have more impressive solo's than this. And no, not just random shredding etc., lots of them in Trivium. Stone Sour, Slipknot and Lamb of God have lots of groove and feel. This doesnt impress me at all sadly

@Direksone yea i read in a magazine tht this was voted best solo was well, did u knw tht tornado of souls by megadeth was in the same catagory :S i mean, this solo is really great, i love it, but tornado of souls is a masterpiece :p i would take tornado over this anyday of the week :P

@alexmccoy11 yea okay, but it was like rated best solo of the whatever in certain magazines and stuff so i expected more. its pretty simple, not that thats a bad thing, its just not grabbing me by the balls.
