Block 50/52 (F-16CJ/DJ) Block 50/52 was first delivered in late 1991; the aircraft are equipped with improved GPS/INS. The aircraft can carry a further batch of advanced missiles; the AGM-88 HARM missile, JDAM, JSOW and WCMD. Block 50 aircraft are powered by the F110-GE-129 while the Block 52 jets use the F100-PW-229.

Block 50/52 Plus (F-16U) This version is ordered by the Polish Air Force. These aircraft are fitted with the latest avionics (including the ALE-50 Towed Decoy System) and provisions for Conformal Fuel Tanks (CFTs). On 9 November, 2006, it was unveiled that the Polish F-16s will be named Jastrząb (Hawk). Limited operational readiness will be achieved in 2008 and last F16 should be delivered by 2008. The Hellenic Air Force ordered this version with the CFTs. All two-seat "Plus" airframes include the enlarged Avionics Dorsal Spine which adds 30 cubic feet (850 L) to the airframe for more avionics with only small increases in weight and drag. This version is sometimes called F-16U and is the foundation of F-16E/F Block 60.[citation needed] The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) also ordered the two-seat version of the Block 52+. Singapore's most recent order consists of an aircraft model rumored to be the exact configuration as the venerable F-16I, but re-designated to avoid sensitivity. The latest D+ models ordered by the RSAF can be noted to have the same antennas, sensor locations, cockpit configurations as that of the F-16I. These planes are also fitted with DASH-3 Helmet-mounted sighting system, 600-Gallon tanks, CFTs, AMRAAM, HARM and laser-guided weapons, fully-configured for long-range strike. The Pakistan Air Force ordered 18 Block 52+ F-16s with an option for 18 more as part of a $5.1 arms package. Pakistani F-16s will be equipped with AIM-120C-5 AMRAAM, AIM-9M-8/9, JDAM, Harpoon Block II, Joint-Helmet Mounted Cueing System, CFTs and possibly IRIS-T.

well the indian air force send su30mki to red flag n didnt impress that much either,a f15 n rafale manage to down the thrust vectoring equip indian su in mock combat,n its a wakeup call for the indian air force,f15 n rafale were able n lock on the india su from beyond visual range n manage a mock kill on the su30mki,india left the exercise scratching there heads,now they probly think that air to air combat is not about maneuverability anymore,its about who av the advantage in radar n technology.

from an engineering perspective..... I think the only advantage F-35 holds over the F-16 latest block is stealth and for future dog fights that would be a big disadvantage but for now I think F-16 is still competitive for many other fighters. I would sort it in par with the Rafale of France. It is still a great fighter. It is upgraded a lot ..come on!

@gtamodman122 i suggest you actually look up the exercises then if you think it is idiotic. If you want to think the F-22 isnt needed fine, yet the F-15's life is coming to an end. I feel we should have put TVC on the F-15, F-16 and modernized the F-14 for fleet defense. We would not be discussing anything Su right now if the F-15 Active and the F-16 MATV were a part of our inventory. They were around in the late 80's early 90's and make the Su's look like what they are, a copy of innovation

@BBEEAANN1 Well,Indian pilots flew under restrictions as well in several exercises.But I don't understand why it was a 6-1.This sounds just...I don't know,rediculously idiotic?

As for the F-22 thing,I just hate it.The F-15 is still very able,and the USAF does not need piles of luxurious hi-tech F-15 upgrades.Because that's what the F-22 is.And it's not very needed.

@gtamodman122 Do you know the restrictions the USAF was flying under in Cope India 04''? The US could not use the fullness of its radar, no BVR was allowed, and were flying outnumbed 6-1. If you cant win a fight like that then you might as well give up an airforce. The USAF also used that exercise to say, seee, we need the F-22 because our F-15's are getting beat up... Its propaganda:/

@fmoa Well,it's not all about the planes.Keep in mind that IAF pilots had their radars on training mode,and pilot skill is also a great factor.Indian pilots are not the best in the world.Good,but not the best.Also,in Cope-India 04,the IAF won 90% of the mock combat missions.

they lost most of the mock fights because the IAF did not switch on their radars and had to use only visual. The Su30mki has superior avionics compared to teh f-15, if they has used their radars the results would have been very different.
