Durme, Durme is a Ladino lullaby. The language Ladino is a mixture of Spanish and Hebrew for the Jewish in Spain. I've also added the lyrics and translation. Enjoy!
Lyrics:

Durme, durme, hijiko de tu madre,
Durme, durme, sin ansio y dolor,
Durme, durme, sin ansio y dolor.

Durme, durme, hijiko de tu madre,
Durme, durme, sin ansio y dolor,
Durme, durme, sin ansio y dolor.

Sienti joya palavrikas de tu madre,
Las palavras de "Shema Yisrael;"
Las palavras de "Shema Yisrael".

Durme, hijiko de tu madre,
Con hermozura de "Shema Yisrael;"
Con hermozura de "Shema Yisrael;"
Con hermozura de "Shema Yisrael."

Translation:

Slumber, slumber, my infant, my baby,
Slumber, slumber no sorrow nor fear,
Slumber, slumber no sorrow nor fear.

Slumber, slumber, my infant, my baby,
Slumber, slumber no sorrow nor fear,
Slumber, slumber no sorrow nor fear.

Hear the words that your mother will sing you,
Joyous words of the "Shema Yisrael;"
Joyous words of the "Shema Yisrael".

Slumber, slumber, my infant, my baby,
In beauty of "Shema Yisrael;"
In beauty of "Shema Yisrael;"
In beauty of "Shema Yisrael".

  • For those of you that like this this you really should check out the Aquapella World music choir as they sing it Acapella, they really give it soul.
