I would also like to add that the Mass is more of bringing Heaven to earth than bringing earth to heaven. It should express more of the solemnity of heavenly banquet not the fanfare of human merrymaking. It should show more of who God is and not who we are. More than our felowship, it is His SAcrafice. The sacrificail character of the Mass should never be obscured by our desire to make it our self-centered communal fellowship. The Mass is more about God and less about us. God bless.

friend, to become "charismatic" is not an excuse to abuse the Mass. Remember that Music in the Mass is not just a religious music; it is Liturgical Music which cannot be sung outside the context of the Mass. Not all religious music can be admitted in the Mass. We can make all kinds of "charismatic" noise in "prayer meetings" and the like but never in the Mass. I hope your group will help restore the sense of the sacred in the celebration of the Divine Liturgy.

what a disaster that this Mass has this music, the drums and all its noise. how sad that the MAss has been done this way.

forestking19, i think as long as we offer everything to God, all our talents, the music that we make, our voices, as long as we do it with love for God, even if it may sound a bit too noisy or unorthodox to others, the mass still becomes a fellowship, an offering of praise and thanksgiving to God. this mass was held with a catholic charistmatic community thats why we use many instruments.
