@TonyRomeoUSA1 If you haven't seen it already, there's a good segment on the CLASSIC ALBUMS - MACHINE HEAD dvd from 2002 where Lord is sitting at a lovely old Hammond showing how he unleashed the beast.

That live video clip was way TOO SHORT , because that was a crystal clear version of an incredilble Mk 2 Deep Purple, and red hot version of " Mandrake Root '.. I also wanted to hear and see how Jon Lord plugged into his 200 watt Marshall Major..

thanks to the mainstream radio Deep Purple is only noted for a few hand picked tunes as well as so many other bands. Most of the current noise on the radio won't stand the test of time
