I highly respect your sonic as it's the reason why I started playing as sonic. However, I wasn't that impressed with this match. 80% of the time you went to the edge and spin dashed. There isn't much skill in that, just consistent repetition. :/ You're better than that man.

@SonicOrochi How would you approach Marth without iSDR? Everytime I play Marth with Sonic, it feels like a hopeless matchup; Marth's abilities ridiculously trump Sonic's in nearly every way.

@Horcish Marth's one of Sonic's hardest matchup. I haven't played good Marths enough to have a solid opinion on this but I think you'll have to bait aerials and go for shieldgrabs most of the time. Spring gimping 'cause that up+B is dangerous and know how to DI out of Dancing Blade (it's hard, I know). Uthrow him 'cause you'll have the advantage with your uair and... that's all I can think of ATM. Good luck lol

he was really reading your rolls, so work on that. While ISDR spam is not really fun to watch, using it the right way can be very effective against people who are not familiar with the strategy. You may have gone a bit overboard but if it works, then do it til it doesn't.

I personally think this MU is all about staying right outside of that sword until they wiff a swing. Baiting with asc spam can be useful for this. Overall, you played like a sonic is supposed to play when he can ISDR spam....
