listen to this loud enough so that you cannot hear anything else on your headphones while being the passenger in a car thats moving very fast. it has to be on a busy road. Squint so that all the light around you is blurry....its an experience like no other..

@SorenSorenssen It's not about anyone called Jack, that's a sexual term. It's about Jole Cole, room mate and roadie for Henry Rollins. Rollins and Cole were coming back from a shop at night to their home when they were mugged at gunpoint. The mugger killed Cole. Rollins has written books about him. Cole was 30 when he died, crime remains unsolved

I watched this video about a year ago and I didn't appreciate it then, I was just eager to hear the song, it's special to me. Later I found out that it was written after the murder of a young boy, Jack mentioned in the song. Now I watch this video and I see it was made with a very deep understanding of the tense atmosphere in the melody, which I actually liked, or it shows good artistic taste at least. I don't know if you knew the story, but thank you girls, anyway. It's so expressive.

@SorenSorenssen I didn't know the story, but it adds a lot to the video, thanks. I thought of things like someone(angel-like, the version of me on the right) looking down and accusing, judging and warning the person who is spoken to(knowing the story now, it must be Jack). Looking back at Jack's life.
