Separate Ways: Someone Save Me; Chapter 9 Part 1

Hayley's POV

I don't quite know how we got here. But from a near death situation, I was now lying on a hospital bed with a sonogram machine beeping noisily next to me. Kevin gripping my hand.

"So, you think you may be pregnant!" the woman shrilled. "Babies are the best." she smiled.

I looked at Kevin and he kissed my forehead re-assuringly. Then the cold jell was spread across my stomach and a heartbeat sounded across the machine.

"Try listening for a fainter sounding beat. That will be the baby." she said.

I strained my ears but all I could hear, were the deafening palpatations of my own pulse. Nothing more.

"I'm afraid your not pregnant." the woman said, removing herself from the room to give us some time.

I looked into Kevin's eyes, and I couldn't be certain but I thought I saw a glimmer of relief.

"Relieved?" I asked him, giggling slightly.
"You have no idea." he said, breathing out heavily. "I don't think we're ready for a child, yet." he said.
"Yet? You have plans for the future?" I laughed.
"Oh you know it babe." he said, kissing my lips eagerly.

I went back to my room and quickly changed, ready to go back home and be with my family. Or my future family. Kevin and I walked hand in hand out of the hospital, glad to be leaving.

"Are you gonna tell everyone what happened?" he asked.
"If you help me." I said.

I leaned onto my tip-toes and kissed his lips.

"I'll always be here."

We walked into the house and found everyone sitting in the lounge, watching a James Bond movie.

"Finally!" I heard Riley yell. "This movie is so over." she laughed.
"Hey! Don't diss the Bond." Joe said, defending his hero.

We all laughed at the childishness but I was so glad to be home. I looked at Kevin and he grabbed my hand and pulled me into a chair.

"We have some things to tell you." he said.

Everybody glanced at each other worridly before re-taking their seats.

"In the Bahamas, Hayley and I, had sex." Kevin stated.

Gasped murmers came from his parents and Riley and Nick looked just as shocked. Joe, had a huge grin plastered across his face. I could tell he was dying to yell "way to go man!" and high five his older brother.

"We love each other and we thought we were ready." I said, defending our actions. "But then I thought I was pregnant." I stated.

Even more gasps emerged and Joe's silly grin turned to shock. Mr and Mrs.Jonas seemed angry and we knew after this we were deep in trouble.

"I'm not though." I said.
"How could you be so irresponsible Kevin!" Mr.Jonas yelled.

Nick, Riley, Carson and Joe decided this would be a great time to leave. That's friends for you.

"I love Hayley dad. I made my decision and I stick by it." he said.
"Didn't you think of the concequences." he yelled, getting more frustrated every second.
"We did use protection." I whispered.

Mrs.Jonas looked at me, and in her eyes I thought I saw an apology. For her husbands erratic behaviour perhaps. I smiled back at her and then carefully watched Mr.Jonas for his next move.

"Dad. I'm sorry if I've disappointed you." Kevin said.
"Son. You could never disappoint me." he reassured him.

Then they walked to each other and embraced in a tight man hug. They were so adorable together. Totally the same, they just didn't realise it. I decided to get up myself and gave Mr.Jonas a hug.

"So nice to see you back to your normal self Hayley." he said, kissing my cheek.
"Thanks. Glad to be home." I said.

Then I hugged Mrs.Jonas and Kevin gave her a small peck on the cheek. We then, went upstairs to deal with the questions from our younger audiance.

So everybody finally knows...ABOUT TIME!
I have a little case of writers block so...DUM DUM DUM!
MAJOR SCRIBBLE TIME!

I'm trying to write loads and get my juices flowing!
I have ideas but I can't seem to get them onto paper. Or into my computer lol.

Anywayz...what did you guys do today? Pretty chillaxed today for me, BFF came over and we sang our little hearts out lol. I also cooked :D

It isn't as bad as it sounds!

Yaay first comment!! that was great. i had school today, then play practice for 2 hours!! which i was NOT happy about...lol it's okay=] other than that, yeah i nothing...lol, i loved the whole "younger audience" that was funny! i can't wait for the next chapter

When I was in my school play we had rehersal for 2 hours and then for 6 on weekends. It was crazy!

oh.emm..geee wen I lived there my parents told me to speak SPANISHHH 2!!!! the reason they had 4 that was becaz they didnt want me to loose my spanish...becaz i could have becaz i spoke english every secondd.. soo ya.. well ttyl im going 2 go 2 sleep its almost 11 p.m here
