[Part 6 of 6] Votive Mass of the Blessed Virgin Mary -- a Mass offered in her honor -- at the Roman Catholic Priory of St. Pius X in Warsaw, Poland.

This same Mass may be viewed or downloaded on Google as one full-length video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=830868996440594893

This is the Eucharistic liturgy of the Roman Rite of the Catholic Church celebrated as a Missa Cantata, or sung Latin Mass, according to the 1962 Roman Missal (Missale Romanum), also commonly referred to as the Tridentine Rite, or Tridentine Mass, or Tridentine Latin Mass, or Old Latin Mass, or classical Latin Mass, or Traditional Latin Mass (TLM).

A "missa cantata" is an approved form of celebration of the Traditional Roman Rite of Mass which serves as a compromise between a Low Mass (which involves no music or incense, by definition) and a Solemn High Mass (which has strict instructions and requirements for celebration that cannot be met in many parishes). For more information, please read this fine article in the 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/09790b.htm

The texts of the Latin prayers, and English translations of the same, which are common to every Traditional Latin Mass can be found here: http://www.sacred-texts.com/chr/lmass/ord.htm

  • Belíssima Missa, a Santa Missa dita de São Pio V. Quando a Igreja de Roma vai acordar e então finalmente destruir o Missal de Paulo VI E AS HERESIAS CONCILIARES DO VATICANO II e deixar que o Sol volte a brilhar. Quando Igrejas barrocas, antigos templos terão o altar Mor versus Deum reutilizados? Quando a antiga ordem estabelecida voltará?

  • Salve Regina

O clemens, o pia, o dulcis Virgo Maria.

  • @dis00612 First of all you’re twisting my words, and more importantly you’re twisting Scripture. SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT, there is nothing man can do to earn it on his own except believe in Christ (John 3:16, Romans, Galatians). Yes Faith without works, but read where James says this, he’ll show you what kind of works (not the sacramental works of Rome).

  • @Menechem Faith without works is dead! All you need to do is have faith in Christ alone? mhm, im bout to inbox you this message because what I am about to say is to much to write for a comment.

  • @dis00612 My point exactly. NEWS FLASH, IT'S NOT A SIN TO MISS MASS. Scripture States quite clearly (especially in the Pauline Epistles), that all one needs for salvation is faith in Christ alone. We are saved by Grace through faith in Christ is what Paul teaches. Having crackers and wine every Sunday is not what saves us, our relationship and faith in Christ Jesus alone is what saves us. His Sacrifice was once offered (Heb. 9-10),no use in reoffering it every Sun in the guise of 'representing'.

  • @Menechem It is a sin to miss mas intentionally on Sunday and if one dies in mortal sin, you know where the soul goes but, if a soul where to go to mass only 1 times and die in a state of grace, they themselves would attain salvation. There is not a number, its ignorant to say "How many masses do i need to attend" for the mass gives us the strength and graces to help us attain salvation so I wouldnt even be the one to answer that question.

  • @dis00612 I obviously do know what the church teaches, but this is not my issue. My issue is this as a baptized Catholic, tell me how many Masses I need to attend for my salvation? BTW, I did not see the 'if'.

  • @Menechem Do you not see the word "IF" before the sentence?

  • @dis00612 Who are you to say I never went to Mass in my life? I was an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist. How can you make such judgements when you do not even know me? I served on the Altar as an Altar boy. I even taught children's liturgy, and Sunday School. I was involved with Lifeteen as a Teenager Living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I served at both Tridentine, and Novus Ordo Masses, as well as at Divine Liturgies (I often would go to 9 AM Liturgy, before the 6:00PM Lifeteen Mass)

  • @Menechem If you never went to mass in your life and it was the hour of your death and yu repented to God with a contrite heart yu yurself will be saved. You obviously dont know what the church is about if you say this. Also, concerning Jeremiah 44 i would rather message this conversation through inboxing because comment wont let you write that many words. lol so lets continue there.

  • @dis00612 I was raised in Rome, I lnow exactly what its about. If you worship God alone, than why is Mary called queen of Heaven? Study Jeremiah 44, my people were judged harshly for worshiping such a deity, Revelation 12 does not back the Assumption and Queenship of Mary. I know Catholic Doctrine and Dogma inside and out, it does not match with what Scripture teaches! Would you possibly tell me how many times I need to attend Mass in order to be saved?

  • @Menechem What are you talkin about? If you dont know what the Catholic Church is about dont comment on here with ignorance you obviously dont. Worshipping Mary is not practiced in the Catholic Church we worship God alone, get out of here with stereotype!
