reading that way you will never read faster than 350 wpm speed reading is about reading 700wpm or more, reading with vocalization and word per word is useless, you should be able to read at least 4 or 5 words in one photograph. Ramon Campayo can read more than 30 words in a second.

WOW, this was very impressive, just registering and pronouncing the words that quickly is a feat in itself. How is your comprehension? If you read, lets say two chapters, are you able to remember most of the first chapter?
I ask because I have a lot of books that i want to read, but i don't have enough time, so I have been looking into speed reading.

@echoboomer2010 thanks, but I haven't done any or little speed reading since the video was uploaded. In terms of comprehension, it could take me a while to fully memorize a full chapter from speed reading. i.e.-this was my second attempt.

bdtyf, how long did it take you to learn how to speed read?
Would you be able to give us viewers some feedback on how you learnt how to speed read? What methods did you use to learn it?

@Boltterman37 i first tried speed reading as a kid and took a ridiculous break from it until shortly before this video was loaded. since then i've been busy with other things, but i'm thinking about restarting. as for my "methods"......i just try to use certain articles of writing (books,reviews,whatever) that don't have any or few words that're difficult to say fast! it takes some a while to nail it, but for me i could do it since i'm somewhat gifted. if you'd like see my other videos
