Dec 8, 2009. This was a video about the quality of llarge 36Wilsonii fruitless olive trees. These trees were at a grower that serves some of the biggest resorts and home building projects in Las Vegas.
That is important for the purpose of understanding this video. Fruiting olive trees are banned from Las Vegas because of the pollin factor.

It turned out the the owner had removed all of the olives to process for his own table fruit. Many nurseries do not take care to pulling fruiting olives from their non fruiting stock and hope that nothing comes of it later when the trees start fruiting on the job site.
We make a big effort to make sure our clients get the best possible trees and that the trees are true to their variety or classification. Fortunately these fruiting olives did not make it to the job site. But you can see how many others do.
