The Cosby Show

The Cosby Show was and still is one of the greatest sitcoms in television history. It ran for 8 seasons from 1984-1992.

In this episode:
Clair bids on a painting by her great-uncle that her grandmother had once owned. Attempting to win her favor, Elvin tries to bake her a cake but fails miserably; he then gets advice from Cliff on how to pass himself off as a good cook. In real life, the painting used in the episode is Funeral Procession by Ellis Wilson.

  • 1:35 - 1:38 Epic face.xD

  • @crudhousefull thanks.. you too lol

  • @firefwi Italian food's the best. Anyway have a great life lol

  • @crudhousefull manicotti (*:*)

  • @SM87013 Pre-med = taking the necessary o-chem, biology, mathematics, etc. Taking those courses doesn't preclude you from majoring in a liberal art. It would merely mean that you would have to take all the requirements for medicine, plus the requirements for liberal arts. I know this, as I have family members who've attended medical school, and I've gotten the information from having been a college student (considering medicine) myself :-)

  • @firefwi Well...pasta and minced meat. What's yours?

  • @msain81 Not sure what colleges or medical schools you know that don't require you to take courses in pre med but oohh kay. If you want a Liberal Arts or Dance major operating and responsible for your life be my guest. I think you are reading to much into this. I really think it was just a continuity error. When the show originally aired they had four kids and Bill's name was originally Clifford.

  • @SM87013 You can get any major and go to medical school, as long as you also fulfill your science and math requirements (lots and lots of chemistry, bio, calculus, etc.). These days a lot of medical schoosl seek out liberal arts majors who also have strong science and math backgrounds, as it makes the student more "well-rounded."

  • @crudhousefull I'm a total equalist lol and no way I could cook you under the table.. what's the best thing you make?? : /

  • @firefwi My original comment was just to annoy someone who was stating something that was obvious. Alvin's character is supposed to appear that way to tackle one of society's problems (pigeonholing female domestic responsibilities when married). You're so way off base about what I think that it's funny. Btw...be an equalist instead of a feminist...that way you'll get better results. Oh yeah, and I'm sure I could kick your ass when it comes too cooking lol
