Both the USA and Russia worked together to end WW2 and then wasted that with the cold war. Let any past conflicts go, and think about the great things that the two counties could do together. Competitive nationalism doesn't get anyone anywhere, and is only a tool of the government, not the people.

@dahDougieBoy Frankly, I barely see the differences between Putin & Medvedev (nobody but Putin's puppet). The only difference is that Putin was more focused on foreign policy while Medvedew - on domestic...

@AtollRu mkay as in "ok, if they say so". with medvedev russia is progressing, but going back to putin this year (and most probably for the next 12 years) is more than one step back for the russian democracy.
