I remember her powerful performances at the depot in downtown Sarasota in the early 1990's. I once saw her old band One Block South perform in the spacious foyer of Rick Doblin's home. She deserves a special place in the history of blues singers. I saw her perform again at Skipper's Smokehouse in 1993. Twinkle, you are the best. Carry on, damn the torpedoes, you kick ass!
