I love this song, but didn't know it was a cover. I have to say i do prefer Kellys version, that may have been predictable lol, but i just feel her voice is more pure and i can feel the emotion of the song more when she sings it :) ...great vid btw!

@alexschoolcraft Kelly was also 20 or 21 years old.. But they are just different versions of the song.. and in Kelly's version is more power, and the orginal of Trine is just more soft, not much power. But that's ok, it's just a cover of Kelly Clarkson!

nope, it was writen for and originally recorded by Trine late 1991-early 1992.

Also, the Kelly version puts too much emphasis on the background music. it was written to be a soft song. And in parts of kelly's, you cannot hear her clearly over the music.

Oh, and one more thing, Trine was only 20 at the time she recorded this song ( i honestly dont know how old kelly is.

kelly is definately my fave singer of this song (and one of my fave singers in general) but i thought danielle brisebois was the original. also carly smithson did a version for an album she did before she was on american idol. so at least four different people have done this song and i think kelly's came last. but i still love kellys the best!
