Hi, thanks for your comment. The song is called "Life and times", from a Melbournian band from the '90s called Tall Poppies. My husband was their drummer, the song is from his collection. If I manage to find some more info about it, I'll post it later. Enjoy your trip to the Islands!

We went at the end of August. We were lucky - it was warmer than usual, air temp around 29oC, water - 25-ish. In January it will be much warmer and more humid i guess (probably cloudier). The irukandji jellyfish may also be around, so beware!

Great video. We also went there and spent a week...absolutely loved it! this video captures almost everything...how about koalas at koala gallery and sunset at one tree hill?

I went up last year with a bunch of mates and going up again in a few weeks.
