Actually, it would be a septet. (And six musicians would be a sextet, not a sextuplet.)
There is doubling up of parts here. There are seven players playing four different parts -- so the piece is still a quartet, even if it is played by seven players.
It's very lovely -- what a treat for the students -- and their parents!
