We are each free to believe what we want and it's my view that the simplest explanation is there is no god. No one created the universe and no one directs our faith. This leads me to a profound realization there is probably no heaven and no after life either. we have this one life to appreciate this grand design of the universe and for that I am extremely grateful .......Stephen Hawking

When i was in high school i had the opportunity to read the Egyptian book of the dead, the Egyptian book of the dead is a translated version of ancient Egyptian funerary text it was used from 1550 BC - 50 BC, i don't know about you but that doesn't seem like the 19th and 20th century, could just be me though.
