Perhaps I should add a little extra info for those that think Cosmic Sounds sound somewhat banal. When this came out in 1967 it was the first album to use the Moog Synthesizer and created quite a storm. The Moog Synthesizer was monophonic so each track and chord had to be built up from multiple recordings and in those days you were lucky to have the cutting edge of technology a four track recorder. People at that time were astounded at how it could synthesize known musical instruments, sounds from nature and sounds never dreamed of before which were not able to be produced in any other way.
