  • @mauriciosilveira1993 In the other videos that have been passed around of this the spurs are sharp and the horse bleeds... but anyhow read the debate I had with MsChey.. I'm not repeating myself -.- I respect your opinion but it wont change my view unfortunately.

  • @MsCheygirl55 ..So to save further argument, I'm going to stick by my view - I am entitled to it as is everyone else - which is backed up by solid knowledge from my degree, I'm going to leave it at that. I don't need to justify my opinion, I'll save that for assignments ;)

  • @MsCheygirl55 Look I could write a whole essay on how different disciplines affect the anatomical structures of the horse to explain why sports such as endurance and showjumping could potentially be less damaging than going uncontrollably crazy or galloping full throttle as in racing and rodeo at various ages, hence why racehorses break. I could also throw in a bit of natural behaviours and concepts of learning and acceptance in there too and back it all up with some lovely research papers..

  • @mauriciosilveira1993 Hey now we're not all "English Toothless" lol

  • @SLMshowjumping ligaments(unnatural). In an open minded perspective you will soon notice the pro and cons of all concepts and life styles. Wether its human or animal welfare =) Theres an evil in every aspect

  • @SLMshowjumping purpose. Like I said before its all in perspective, animal or human. But I know plenty of horses that enjoy the jobs they were bred and trained for, I've also seen many people forcing their horses to do the "un-natural". SO dont argue with this person or any rodeo person in that manner when you load(unnatural) a horse into a trailer. saddle it up with odds and ends tack(unnatural) Trot it around an arena(unnatural) and have it leap over a course of jumps risking its tendons and

  • @MsCheygirl55 some stock owners that get low end animals and try to force them to buck, those I do look down upon. But for the "real" stock owners, They spend thousands in prepping and feeding their stock, they get them vaccinated and so well cared for. They are athletes to the core. And really do I see an animal get injured in the pens. But just like people shit happens while we're doing stuff we enjoy/ or that is our job. Yes they may be prey animals but they are also an animal that needs a

  • @MsCheygirl55 Cause I will defend them with every being in myself. I have been a competing Female Bull Rider for the past year and a half. I have seen bulls run thru the chutes ready to do what they were bred to do, and as soon as that rider face plants into the dirt, you can see the gleam in the eye of the bull as he prances around the arena. Hell atleast 75% of the practice stock I've been on will buck willingly without a flank. Inwhich proving their not forced but choose to. Now I have seen

  • @SLMshowjumping You dont know for fact if an animals under stress.. Yes they can show signs like anxiety and pacing. But I also know of barrel horses, hunters, thoroughbreds etc. that pace, dance, spook. And yet I know of many that enjoy or act like they enjoy their jobs. Do you honestly believe a horse is ment to run barrels or jump 6ft fences? Nope, but they are capable just as they are capable to buck and spin a rider into the ground. Dont even bring rodeos into subject. lol

  • @MsCheygirl55 cont'd from below. Its welfare is being compromised.. And it really upsets me to see this happen to amazing creatures who are capable of love and trust. Rodeos and similar sports injure and even kill horses and cows reguarly for the sheer enjoyment of humans. Would you enjoy being dominated over and exploited like this? Because "god" believes in it? Try seeing it from the horses point of view - It's a prey animal, If a predator jumps on it its going to die. Humans are predators.
