  • Deeply admire you and your work Anne, and have adored the Chronicles for many years.... but I have to say, after book 3 (Queen), Lestat seems to have lost himself somewhat. It seems to me that the Chronicles have become cheapened a little by forcing Lestat into rather mundane adventures (Body thief & memnoch), not to mention introducing the possibilities that a god exists? Doesn't this existance of a god negate Lestat's arrogance in the original book perhaps? I'm in for it now.....

  • i truly admire Anne Rice, she is one of the best authors out there <3 as well as an amazing woman

  • Yes, I was raised in believing in her. I've known her for about 12 years and never has she let me down. She's always helped through those strong blocks and I believed in moving them..when I read her books! :)

  • Sorry my mistake. I find horror writing has generally gone down the pan.Rice's first

work being a great exception .Almost everything right now seems to be

a buffy the vampire slayer sendoff or just

    badly thought out.

  • @Spamhero if you are talking anne rice daughter michelle she died in ca not paris and it was before her fifth b day

  • To a great extent "Interview with a vampire" was a re enactment of the death of her child atn the age of five in Paris. Read the passage in qustion in the novel. It makes hard reading and is part

of the reason why it is such a fantastic book. A quest to find light in the shadows.

  • i skipped memnoch because I thought it was kinda boring...maybe I'll start again someday...

  • I think the main reason why people criticise The Vampire Armand and Memnoch is because they don't understand them. They are my personal favourites.

  • I love her bookes! And I like her voice^^

  • I read the books of Anne Rice, and the only thing I can say, It's that I love with all my soul her books.

    ¡Anne eres la mejor!
