  • Wow! That sea lion has a huge repertoire of behaviors!!

  • That's so cool! I did the same thing only it was at the zoo in the city I live in (Milwaukee)

  • haha well good luck and i hope you become a trainer! let me know how things work out!

  • @Cranma5678 yep thats why im moving to san antonio to get a job for seaworld. id love to be a camp counselor but id do any kind of job there to start.

  • @txhorselovingirl oh okay. thats good that you did psychology though because alot of people automatically think its marine biology. Did you know that sea world prefers to hire one of there employees somehow to be a trainer if they are qualified than someone who never had anything to do with sea world? So if your living in San Antonio you should try and get a job at sea world as a tour guide or in the education department or even a summer camp counselor. :)what is the basics at community college?

  • @Cranma5678@Cranma5678 yes it is preferred but not required. I've met many trainers with many different degrees. they prefer psychology because it has the most to do with behavioral modification, and just behavior in general. Im just finishing up my basics at the community college. Ill be getting a 4yr bachelor's in psychology. There is a private college here that offers a bachelor in animal behavior specifically but i probably wont be going there since the cost per year is 30,000 dollars.

  • @Cranma5678 I am majoring in psychology! There isnt a lot of diving places around here either for some reason. ive found 2 and they are both at least 25 mins from my house or so but i gotta do what ive gotta do.

  • @txhorselovingirl wow sounds like your knocking everything out soon thats great! what are you going to major in at your new university?.. haha i cant dive well either i have to practice but being in vegas we dont have alot of spring diving board classes and stuff but im only 16 so i have time. i am so excited for camp thanks for making it sound even better! :) i really hope you become a trainer!

  • JEALOUSS!!!!! ;P I wish i was there.

  • special needs and handicapped children. I am most likely getting an internship working with dolphins in may for a month or so where i will also get scuba certified. Id say im knocking out everything that needs to get done quite well. Seaworld camp was amazing! i learned so much and got to do so many animal interactions. Learned about the jobs and what they do and i know for sure its what i wanna do. And im gonna try to be a camp counselor in a year or so also.
