As part of the International 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, IREX Armenia and the Women's Resource Center is teaming up to present the documentary film "Miss Representation" at the American University of Armenia's Manoogian Hall. The documentary (http://vimeo.com/28066212) "uncovers a glaring reality we live with every day but fail to see. The film exposes how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America. The film challenges the media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls " (www.missrepresentation.org).
