Chaotic Shield-Runescape

*EDIT* Achieved 99 finally. Have Long, Rapier, Maul, Kiteshield and Crossbow.

Best order to get them in (imo) Rapier, Maul, Long, Crossbow, and shield. I wouldn't touch shield until you have gotten all the chaotics you want.

The shield also only soaks 7% of melee and 14% of range damage of hits of 200 or more damage. the Knowledge Database was originally wrong when they first came out

The reason reason why my Kg is 78 is because I had all the gear in my inventory when I recorded it. Current username: 007Bond if you want to look me up.

*original* Finally got 80 dungeoneering and I guess since I'm one of the first people to get a chaotic shield, might as well post the stats of it.

It has the highest stats of any shield in the game. Its special ability is it soaks up to 7% of all received melee damage and up to 14% of all received ranged damage.

Maul hits 800 if you're on a slayer task with max gear, yes. But rapier can hit 700 with the same prerequisites, and at a much higher speed >.>

Ccbow hits 600's, but so does rune cbow, they have the same max hit.

The only thing ccbow is useful for is nex, which gets extremely boring extremely quickly, especially if you're not in it for the cash.

Maul is best chaotic for pking

Rapier is possibly the best melee weapon for training as it is effectively a whip in steroids

Get a rapier first for frost drags, xbow for arma, maul for whatever and then cls then wjatever

Lmao the whip upgrade is no where near as good as rapier :L it adds 2 str bonus so the whip has 84 str bonus the rapier has 100+ str bonus and amazing stab bonus and the maul is best in pvp for sure not the bow :L
