This is the video package that was shown on the big screen for the live crowd just before the start of the May 2006 SHIMMER Vols. 5 & 6 taping in Berwyn, IL. It previews the main matches on that night's taping, and includes some highlights from SHIMMER Vols. 1 through 4.
Interview clips are included featuring Lacey, Nikita (now WWE's Katie Lea), Daizee Haze, and Sara Del Rey.

The only current women's wrestlers in the WWE that are any good are Gail Kim, Natalya Neidhart, and Beth Phoenix. And only Beth gets treated with any respect.
Melina and Jillian Hall are WAY better than WWE will allow them to show on TV. Unlike Kelly, Maryse, and Michelle, they're actually trained wrestlers and not Diva Search Losers.

I remember watching the cheesetastic W.O.W. and the current Women's Extreme Wrestling, along with G.L.O.W. in the 80's, but I don't remember SHIMMER, at all. Shimmer looks awesome and doesn't treat women's wrestling as a joke.

The way Katie Lea was used in WWE was downright criminal. Come back to SHIMMER where you'll be more appreciated.

Bret Hart used to say that the three things wrestlers are judged on are: your look, your promos, and your ringwork. Many people criticize Trish Stratus' ring skills, but of the women there in the early-mid-00's, she rated the highest overall.

Yes absolutely. Sometimes I think that the WWE designed her Woman's Division first and foremost that the Male Viewer gets a Boner and not thinking "Hey those Girls can wrestle"

Well some of them can, but besides, it takes more than wrestling ability, to become a success. Just like, with the exception of the WWE some to most of the time, it takes more than great looks, to become a success in wrestling. Agree?
