F-22 has never been in combat because it wouldn't survive any prolonged combat whatsoever. Tha plane spends most of it's time being fixed up for next flight, he he he!
Sure F-22 was planned for a first strike wave against USSR, and you dont need to fix what you dont expect to return from the battlefield in the first place.

@KRaikkonenSF The avionics, radars, "electronic pilot" in the PAK-FA will be superior to F-22 in every aspect. Because Russia has better programmers, to start with.

The US has made the best fighters for the last 20 years but the F22 is one of the biggest mistakes ever made agree and move on as long as it is not the JSF which is an even bigger mistake than the F22

@TheTequilaShooter To be honest I don't know about the 34 hours . I don't know how much maintenance the 22 requires, but if you say 10.5hrs then I trust you . I agree with him on the "the US cannot afford" . F-35 and F-22 are too expensive in my opinion .
But I like this aircraft anyway, the most advanced fighter ever that makes no doubt .
