  • I say his wife killed herself. She was dying of cancer and was in pain. It makes sense to me

  • David Starkey is awesome.

  • @Iusedtobeacat93 I'll pick it up sometime, thanks for reccomending it!

  • @supergirl011 That's a myth Robert was born on 24th June of 1532 and Elizabeth was born on 7th of September 1533.

  • Why did Amy give the servants a day off ? A woman of her standings wouldn't stay alone in a household with only one servant unless she was expecting something to happen. Many people have been linking her death to Elizabeth/Dudley but what about Amy ? Could it be possible that she was involved into something she shouldn't have, maybe she knew something and was murdered for it ? Something that had nothing to do with Elizabeth or Robert ? We'll never know of course but all is possible.

  • @HistoryLover1550 sorry I meant Legacy by Sandra Kay.

  • @psychkim2009 They might have been a couple.

  • @JudgeJulieLit I don't think Dudley killed his wife. There was an interrogation and he was found innocent. Elizabeth was a good judge of character and if she had suspected Dudley to be uxoricide I'm sure he would have fallen from her favor long ago but instead she kept him around. Personally, I believe he wasn't behind Amy's death he knew it would damage his reputation he once loved her. She was sick and it was probably an unfortunate accident, suicide or Cecil was behind it no one knows ?

  • @HistoryLover1550 I personally recommend Legacy by Sandy Kay. I read the Virgin's lover but I wasn't impressed much I'm sorry.

  • @slayr698 ~

Not necessarily, I mean Mary was able to marry without giving up her prerogatives and powers at court!
