Queen & Paul Rodgers - Say It's Not True

The track, Roger's "Say It's Not True", originally came to light for the launch of the 46664 campaign back in November 2003. Roger wrote the song as a gift to Nelson Mandela (or 'Madiba', as he is fondly know), and performed it live for him for the first time with Brian and Dave Stewart at the inaugural 46664 concert in Cape Town that month. The song carries the message that HIV AIDS is something that can affect any one of us.

It is a great song....so nice to hear Brian launch into a great heavy guitar solo at the end and just to have them working together again....Paul's voice sounds great with it - great music chemistry....fantastic. we have been missing out on this great music for far too long.....the album will be even better....as good as this is, it might not be good enough for the new album....which is fine. I'd rather have this as a standalone single anyway

I think it's great that Brian and Roger are still going, it's better than nothing! Be thankful that Paul isn't trying to be Freddie in any way, he's a great singer with a great history.

Not a bad offering at all. Bri and Rog did a good job in the beginning...good, loose-type, soft 2 part harmony at 1:59-2:15 and a perfect entrance for Paul Rodgers with all the hallmark Queen sounds after that. The video is strong in its message and the song blends well witht he visual. Freddie and Mandela I'm sure are proud...
