A Smitchi/Jemi story S2 E10

Joe: (laying on his bed then he sees a piece of paper and picks it up) A note from Demi? (reads it)
*the note*
Dear Joe,

Im sorry but I had to leave. Dont worry about me Im safe. Please dont do anything stupid. Dont hurt yourself because of me. Im going to come back. I promise. I just dont know when.

Demi.

Joe: Why did you have to forget? Why? (tears in his eyes)
Selena: (walks in) Hey are you ok?
Joe: (really wants to cry) She left.
Selena: She will come back.
Joe: When? How long do I have to deal with this pain?
Selena: She said a month at least.
Joe: A month? I cant.
Selena: Just hang on. Maybe when she comes back you can go back to being more than just friends.
Joe: What?
Selena: Maybe she will remember something while shes gone.
Joe: I hope so cause I cant do this brother thing any longer. (a tear escapes) If she doesnt remember Im leaving and never coming back.
Selena: (Thinks: No! He cant leave Demi is going to come back she does remember. I have to keep him here I promised.) No. Dont make any decisions just yet.
*2 weeks later*
*at school*
Guy: Wheres your girlfriend?
Joe: Shes away for a while.
Guy: (laughs) You know what I think? I think she dumped you.
Joe: She did not dump me.
Guy: Then she must have ran as far away from you as possible. (laughs)
Joe: (getting mad) Shut up.
Guy: Oh come on shes so hot and youre such a loser. Hey I wonder if she would go for me. She looks so stupid she might actually think I like her. I mean if she was stupid enough to fall for this loser I could get her like this. (snaps his fingers)
Joe: (hits him hard)
Guy: (hits him back)
*with Selena*
Selena: I feel so sorry for Joe.
Miley: Yeah he really loves Demi.
Selena: (Hears something) What was that?
Miley: I didnt hear anything.
Selena: (sees Joe on top of a guy) Shit. (drops a her stuff and runs over)
Miley: (does the same)
Joe: (hitting him but not hard)
Selena: Joe! What are you doing?
Joe: (still hitting him) He made fun of Demi, and called me a loser.
Selena: So you hit him?
Joe: Yes! (hitting him)
Selena: (grabs Joe and pulls him off the guy)
Guy: (stands up) You call that hitting? Im not even bleeding. You hit like a girl.
Joe: (Hits him again) Shut up! You son of a b***h!
Selena: (pulls him away again) Shane control yourself!
Guy: Yeah its unladylike to use that kind of language.
Selena: Shut up you moron.
Guy: What are you gonna do if I dont.
Selena: You dont want to know.
Guy: Maybe I should go for you instead of your stupid little friend.
Nick: Dont even think about coming near her.
Guy: Hey its another ladylike guy.
Nick: Shut up!
Guy: Is that all you got to say? Wow youre just as big a loser as him.
Joe: (hits him again)
Selena: Nick Take care of him! (Pulls Joe of off him again)
Guy: Yeah take care of him before he breaks a nail.
Selena: I have had enough of you. Shut up!
Guy: Now its the little girl to the rescue.
Selena: (hits him) Shut up!
Miley: Selena! (grabs her) What are you doing?
Selena: Let go of me before you get hurt.
Miley: (lets go of her) Just calm down.
Selena: (gets of the guy) Fine!
Guy: You all hit like girls!
Miley: (slaps him) No a girl slaps when she is mad. A guy hits.
Guy: (looks at Selena) Then I guess your a guy.
Nick: (hits him) Nobody calls her a guy.
Guy: (stumbles back)
Miley: Ok now leave before I loose my temper.
Guy: Im not done yet.
Taylor: Yes you are and if you ever say or do anything to my friends again I will tie you up and let them hit you. Do you understand?
Guy: You can do that if you want they hit like girls anyway.
Taylor: (hits him hard)
Guy: Ow! Why did you do that?
Taylor: Im the only one that hasnt hit you yet. (takes his arm and starts walking)
Guy: (Leaves with her)
Teacher: Another fight two weeks detention for each of you.
Miley: No it was my fault. I told them to hit him.
Teacher: Fine then, 8 weeks detention. This is your second warning, one more and youre expelled.
Miley: Yes I know.
Teacher: (leaves)
Joe: Why did you do that?
Miley: The chief wouldnt let you come back after the whole Demi thing. So I said I would take the blame for everything you get into. So youre secrets wont get out.
Selena: Why?
Miley: Because you are my only friends. I want you guys to be here with me everyday. I hate coming to school on my own. But if you guys going to get me in so much trouble then maybe you should just stay away. (leaves)
Nick: She did that for us?
Joe: She really is a good friend.
Selena: Yeah and we messed up.
