To be honest, i think half of those spectators just wanted to clear the track so they could watch more! They were rolling the cars back onto the wheels when a guy was still trying to climb out!

It's rear engined, it has skinny tires, but it looks kinda sporty. All this equals crash on the track at the hands of an inexperienced driver.
