Galactic Suite Ltd., intends to radically alter the state of space tourism by taking the next step in its development by providing a destination built for such travelers: The first space hotel. And while Americans have become used to space programs which are described in terms of decades, for Galactic Suite, it would appear that the future is now.

  • @lilblake90

Stratosphere would probably be a lot harder to make, due to gravity and such.

  • yes space hotels are true and my tourism professor said that it cost 33M$ per head!

  • @Cod4Paradox they even said in this magazine that they r actually building one... but there's probably going to be some delays

  • i have to be famous to get in that hotel

  • @lilblake90 Galactic Suites also plans to make a high-altitude airship hotel.

  • i dont think making one in space is good for now, but how about in the stratosphere?

  • @Cod4Paradox well see when you have a bunch of rich people paying for it, it actually DOES make sense.

  • @Ladiestreat I wonder if priceline will get you a deal on this.

  • This will never happen in two years. First of all it doesn't make sense economically (somewhere around $5 billion construction, research and implementation) and a quarter of a billion dollars to launch a group of people up to the hotel. They say it will be $4 million for each member which would take eons to gain actual income! This will only be even possible in another 20-30 years. But very cool indeed!
