Oshkosh Landing 2007

VFR Landing at AirVenture2007, Oshkosh, WI. My brother, my son and I flew from Nashua, NH to Waukesha, WI in a day and flew on to Oshkosh the next morning. A momentous experience for any pilot!

I love the sound over the radio about the Ford Trimotors, and the instructions to land at the orange and green dots - do they really have people landing on different parts of the same runway like that? That's impressive

I think we lucked out in that we were the only ones on the runway at the time we turned final. I've heard other stories about landing on the close dot while another plane flies over you to land on the further dot. And then there's landing on parallel runways some days...

Nice landing mate! I flew in this year with a friend and spent the week, and the arrival was probably one of the biggest rushes I've ever felt.

I was at this OSH, but parked on the south side of 27.. We always enjoy showing early for that side to park on, then putting our chairs out and watching everyone come in... Good times always!

And I still let my hubby fly in every year!
