  • @ClassicRockfan79 The Undertaker has just turned 46 and is also showing limitations!!

  • anyone know why he wore red in this match, I had never seen him wear that before.

  • @castorres7 a lot of people say his age was a big factor in his slow in ring performance, i do not think that was a major problem. he was 46 when he died, he may have been 45 during this match. Thats really not all that old, look at big wrestlers like the Undertaker, hes 50, still dose as good as ever. The problem was Andres disease, and size alone. His bones were crushing under his own weight, he was still putting on weight, couldnt stop growing, and his heart gave out.

  • After reading all of your comments, u'd think he died during this match.Alongside Bam Bam he did a pretty good job, considering his disease and age. Not much different than his last WWF matches. Some giants cant even walk when theyre that close to death, much less wrestle. I give it up to Andre for doin what he loved until the very end.

  • I know many people feel bad to see Andre in such a physical shape... but he loved wrestling and he wanted to go doing what he loved the most.

In Mexico it was big news when Andre visited... everytime he wrestled, news channels and people waited for him at the airport.

I believe this is one of his last matches and it this video shows that he was in real pain... but like I said... he loved wrestling and people loved him... and I think that made it worth it.

  • I had the pleasure of seeing Andre wrestle when he was with Grand Prix Wrestling out of Montreal under the name Geant Jean Ferre. He was unbelievable. He had the strength, speed and skills comparible to many other wrestlers. He always had a smile for the fans and would sign autographs at ringside before and after his matches. The fans loved him. My only regret is that I never had a chance to meet him in person. He was a fascinating person. Rest in Peace Andre - you are loved and missed.

  • Andre's story is really sad

  • I could not finish this video. Watching this makes me feel bad. It's like sitting in a hospital purposely watching a cancer patient die. He persevered until the end. RIP Andre

  • was this caught on film?

  • I saw Hogan vs. Andre in the Greensboro Coliseum in July 1988, the WWF's first-ever show in Greensboro. The main event was Rude vs Roberts.
