  • I have heard that drinking R.O. water on a regular basis is bad for you because it will leach the minerals out of your body.

  • Yes, I have heard that. Thus, I have the choice of three different levels of filtration at my sink. I have also heard that R.O. or Distilled water is better for you than water with minerals because it is "pure". That being said, I rarely drink my R.O. water and mainly use it for recipe preparation where I just want pure water.

  • Might be a dumb question... But, why do you have 3 filters on your sink? Wouldn't the RO do everything the other 2 filters do?

  • I was once told there are no such thing as dumb questions... Just dumb answers.. I have three different filter setups for specific needs. The main filter removes 99%+ of the chlorine & chems. For me, this is good to wash my vegetables, fruits & myself. The additional filter that has 2 more stages, but leaves the minerals. The final one removes the minerals (R.O.). This gives me options to drink what I want. Naturally water contains minerals, so i think its best but sometimes want R.O. h20

  • Nice video. From a raw food prospective, is store bought Sparkling Water good for you?

  • It depends. What are the alternatives? If you would drink sparkling water instead of soda, then YES, its better. If your drinking sparkling water instead of regular water, it might not be as good. I enjoy sparkling water on rare occasions. My favorite is to make fresh pressed citrus juice 3/4 of the glass and then add 1/4 of the glass sparkling water. Natures Soda.

  • Yes, sometimes I add FRESH stevia leaves into the brew to make it sweet, and encourage you to grow your own stevia so you can do this too.

  • John, if we were stranded on an Island I would eat you because you are the most nutrient dense human. Thanks

  • @mamcauley ----> and nether did I . how could anyone drink Pounds of water. LOL lord or lord 75 oz of water is alot. thats about 9 - 8oz bottle of water every day. thats alot.

  • @jsbattlenet He didn't say drink half your body weight in pounds, he said half your body weight in ounces, so a 150-pound person should drink 75 oz. One cup is 8 oz, so that would mean a little more than 9 cups of water, which translates into about 2 quarts. Even conventional sources often recommend 8 cups per day.
