@kurec86 read the posts man. theres no turbo on the cobalt. they didnt offer the turbo on this year and no its not supercharged either.

No way this cobalt is a 2.4L. My bro got a 06 2.4L Cobalt SS and I kill him all day long with my bunny.

Chevy made a 2.0L, 2.4L and a 2.0L Supercharged.

Now the 2.0L turbocharged ~260hp is available.

This is not 2.4L VS 2.5L but 2.0L 4cyls Supercharged VS 2.5L 5cyls. Which is 200HP VS 170HP. Or the Bunny's driver didn't downshift.

@08mkvbunny its a 2007 cobalt ss four door 2.4 le5 vvti motor. supercharged never came in a four door. the new turbos arnt 2.0 there 2.4 lnf turbos. eat a dick

@Accord9422 wrong, the turbo cobalts are 2.0 gm discontinued the 2.4 after 2007

@yellowmusicfreak Yeah I had an 08 Rabbit and it was nice with I/E upgrades to have that instant throttle response versus my old 1.8T cars, though you can argue with the G-forces you feel during boost, lol. I woudlve never gone up against a Colbalt SS. lighter and more power from the get go. :/

Dude. The new LNF turbo motors are 2.0 still. Not a 2.4l. And if that's the same car my buddy owned there is more than I/E on it. It has an injector swap and tuned with HPTuners. Those SS Sedans are fast cars when done right.

@yellowmusicfreak yeah they made a 2.4 ss N/A (naturally aspirated ) they changed it to the "cobalt Sport i believe in 2007or 2008 not sure exactly when they changed the name. maybe sooner lol not sure

@Accord9422 i know this is a year old well ur comment that is but i had to reply if your gonna tell someone to eat a dick. atleast get your facts right. the 2008 + LNF ss turbo is a 2.0L which by now im sure u know that. and for some reason if you dont. trust me it does cause i own a 2010.. :/

@DOHCCordia Well, TECHNICALLY the GTI 2.0TFSi is quicker to 60 with the DSG automatic than a manual.(think launch control) Either way, I'd LOVE to have one under my hood they have soooo much potential

Don't forget, the 2.5 only made 150hp up until '08. And I have no idea how VW squeezes the speed it does out of just 150 in a car that's heavier than an old Mitsubishi Galant. Must be that 170lb.ft. and that nice 6spd auto...I know my Jetta will burn any rubber you put on it even WITH an auto.

@Accord9422 Um, the first American Cobalt SS was indeed supercharged. 2.0L with 205hp, I never knew they ever made a 2.4 except in the old Z24 Cavalier.
